The creation of calculus is an important step in the development of mathematics.Its development and extensive application creates a new period of transition to modern mathematics.It provides an important method for the study of variables and functions.The content of calculus in the modern curriculum of high school has a great change in the requirements and processing.Learning of calculus is still at the beginning stage for high school students,which plays a critical role in the follow-up study,and is one of the main contents of the examination of the college entrance examination.Therefore,base on the states and difficulty of calculus,it is very necessary for high school students to study calculus learning.This study comprehensively uses the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire,interview and case study,and combines the actual situation of high school students in L City,focuses on the in-depth investigation and analysis:Students' experience in Calculus Learning,the degree of mastery of calculus learning,and the difficulties and problems in calculus study.According to the objectivity and accuracy of the survey data,we analyze the learning situation of students,and put forward effective learning strategies and teaching strategies.Here are some main problems and difficulties in Calculus Learning in high school: first,the learning attitude is not correct,the self-confidence is insufficient,the autonomy is not strong,the learning habits are not good,the learning ability is poor;second,the function and other related basic knowledge are poor,the knowledge produces negative transfer,the ability and the thinking level of the calculation are low,the lackness of metacognition;third,the concept is not clear,so they lack of good cognitive structure in the formation.And it is mainly through the question to understand and familiarity with the relevant knowledge,which lead them to get half result with twice the effort;fourth,the school curriculum design is not scientific,teachers' teaching methods are not good,assessment methods are not scientific.Meanwhile,teachers and students are not harmonious enough.For the problems existing in learning,we put forward strategies to optimize calculus which was based on the curriculum standards and teaching materials and effective learning and teaching.Learning strategies: to guide students to build a perfect knowledge structure,to pay attention to the formation of the concept of calculus,to cultivate students' ability to solve problems with derivative tools,to cultivate the students' idea of "classified discussion",to improve the ability of computing,to develop good learning habits and to play the role of the main body.Teaching strategies: explore reasonable teaching arrangement,improve education and teaching methods,pay attention to concept teaching,formulate progressive assessment methods,cultivate interest in learning mathematics,and build a harmonious learning atmosphere.L city is an economically underdeveloped City.With its own unique market situation students' learning situation also has its peculiar characteristics.The local education is in the key period of reform and progress.We hoped that this study will provide a reference for the effective study and teaching of provincial education departments for teachers and students.
