Study On The Strategy In Developing The Ability Of High School Students To Apply The Calculus To Solve Physics Probloms

Mathematics is the carrier of science. It's the important tool in physics teaching used to express physics concepts and disciplines in a logical, brief and accurate way. One objective of physics learning in middle school is to use mathematics as a solution to physics problems. The article mentions that in the book basic knowledge of calculus has been introduced. So the article analyzes the necessity and significance of using calculus to solve physics problems in high school physics teaching, studies how to help students to raise the ability of solving problems by using calculus, and puts forward some teaching methods. At the same time, the author carries out the study of infiltrating the calculus into the first round general revision. After instruction and practice, there is an obvious difference in the ability of using calculus to solve physics problems between the experiment class and the contrasting class, which proves it is practical and efficient to pull calculus into high school physics teaching.
