With the continuous development of population aging and population aging, the quality of life of the elderly living alone has attracted more and more attention. At present, the older, the middle age and the elderly are not refined, still considered as a whole, but compared to the younger and middle-aged people, the quality of life of the elderly alone is more easily ignored, and there are some unique needs that can not be met.In this paper,a senior elderly resident in the university community is taken as an intervention object, and narrative therapy is used as a means of intervention to provide case service for the intervention object, and to discuss the adaptability of narrative therapy to the intervention effect and method of the elderly living alone.Narrative therapy focuses on the expression and understanding of language, emphasizing the psychological function of language. The object of this study is a life experience college teacher.Narrative therapy has certain advantages in improving her quality of life.In this paper, the quality of life of the owner is operationalized in three aspectsthe, such as physical condition(insomnia, chronic disease diagnosis, daily living ability, etc.),mental health status(depression, loneliness feeling, etc.)and social support(family, friends, neighbourhood and so on),And starting with the most urgent mental health status of the owner of the case.First, establish a good professional relationship with the owner, jointly discuss the formulation of service goals and plans;Secondly, assist the case to sort out the story of life, externalizing the problem, leading the case to find the problem, finding the unique story that is not suppressed by the problem, helping the case to consolidate the new story, learn the correct attribution way,and alleviate its bad mood; Finally, after relieving the depressive mood of the owner,it helps the owner to constantly internalize the narrative in the real life scene, integrate into the real life environment, and consolidate the positive narrative by carrying out the action, thus improving the quality of life of the owner.Through the evaluation of the service,we can draw the following conclusions: on theone hand, narrative therapy with storytelling intervention method is suitable for female elderly with rich desire and rich life course, language as the main way of communication, fit for the needs of elderly people living alone; On the other hand, narrative therapy is inadequate, for example,it requires a high level of language understanding and expression,a higher requirement for the professional literacy of social workers, and a lack of effective evaluation methods. In the process of localization, narrative therapy needs to be integrated with traditional Chinese culture.Social workers need to master the ideas and skills of narrative therapy to provide more specialized and local intervention services.
