The Image Of Korea In The Eyes Of Chinese College Students

The purpose of this study is to explore the Korean image in the eyes of contemporary Chinese college students,and to further study the good perception of Chinese college students towards Korea and the information channels that influence the formation of Korean image.The research method of this study is the combination of literature research and questionnaire survey.The Korean image is divided into different dimensions by combing the existing literature in detail.Then,the national image of Korea was pre-investigated,then the specific description words were screened out,and then a questionnaire was designed based on the pre-survey results.The questionnaire was designed for China Youth political College,Capital normal University,Central University for nationalities,Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 750 students from five schools of Beijing University.The results are as follows:First,the overall impression of Korea in the minds of the Chinese college students surveyed as a whole is mainly positive.They think that Korea is an open,civilized,developed,fashionable,beautiful,and young country full of modernization and a sense of science and technology.A lively and attractive country;Second,the positive impression of Chinese college students on Korea is mainly in the aspects of economy,culture,scenery,goods and so on,and the negative impression on Korea is mainly in politics;Third,the Chinese college students mainly take the positive impression to the Korean people,think that the Korean people dress fashionable and appropriate and pay attention to the etiquette,and very united,patriotic,diligent and confident;Fourth,in the information channels that affect the Korean image in the minds of Chinese college students,the main sources of information for the formation of a positive Korean image are Korean movies and TV shows,Internet and television,while Korean pop music,diet,cosmetics,These channels of electronic products have also played an important role in the construction of the positive Korean image in the minds of Chinese college students.The main sources of information for the formation of the negative image of Korea come from the Internet,television,newspapers,magazines,In other information channels,Korean film and television also bring Chinese college students a certain degree of negative image,we can see that in the formation of the negative Korean image of indirect information channels more concentrated in the mass media;Fifthly,among the most reliable sources of information about Korea,Chinese college students get information through smartphones and computers most frequently in their daily lives,and far more frequently than newspapers,radio,magazines,etc.,indicating that in this era,New media has become the main channel for young people,especially college students,to obtain information.
