A Research On Social Work Intervening In Poverty-caused-by-diseases Families From Social Capital Perspective

To completely build the well-off society by 2020 is a solemn promise made by the party and the government to the people of the country.Poverty is the biggest shortfall in building the well-off society.And to get rid of poverty for poverty-stricken rural population is the most difficult task to fully build a well-off society.According to research statistics,poor-for-disease family take for a large proportion in poverty-stricken families,and the families not only face the challenges of poverty,but also diseases,which makes it more difficult to get rid of poverty.So the poverty issue needs urgent attention.On the other hand,in the past most of poverty alleviation was extensive,but lack of precision.While social work has very scientific method of social investigation,so to make the social work involved in poverty alleviation on the basis of its precision.In this article,the writer visited households and conducted in-depth interviews to understand the current living situation of rural poor-for-disease families,and the rural environment.Accordingly analyze the physical health,psychological,economic,and social relations of poor-for-disease families.Different from other poverty groups,the poor-for disease families is faced with more serious problems of social integration,which is also an important condition for the group to get rid of poverty.According to experiences,the important role of social capital in poverty alleviation is reflected in the fact that it can not only alleviate the economic poverty of the poor,but also promote their social integration.After a preliminary understanding of the group,the writer used a general model of social work to involve a household that has been impoverished by the disease and use professional methods of social work to help them.When in responding to their needs for employment,medical policy subsidies,reassuring their lives,and strengthening social networking,social capital's importance for poor-for-disease families.And respond to the special rural environment,social capital is even more indispensable.Meanwhile,social work also has strong advantages and operability for linking,integrating resources,and promoting trust.This paper,from the perspective of social capital,explores the effectiveness of social workers for helping poor-for disease families,and rethink the issues involved in social work intervention;at the same time,also reflects on the guiding significance of social capital theory.In general,using the perspective of social capital to help poverty-stricken families can target their needs more accurately,increase their blood-building capabilities while externally “blood replenishing”,then achieve self-reliance;In terms of social capital,this perspective can promote the diversity and accuracy of professional methods in social work...
