Study On Intervention Of Social Work For The Poor People In Poor Community

Poverty has always been a serious problem in rural China. In order to alleviate and eliminate poverty, the Chinese government has launched the anti-poverty campaign in rural areas. But in the past, the poverty alleviation has also ignored the individual differences and capacity building of the poor, the poverty problem has not been solved at all.. In the past, the poverty alleviation has ignored the individual differences and the poor’s capacity building. In a new era, the precise poverty alleviation has become a new concept. Helping the poor provided by social work has also become a new innovation, which attracts the attention of the academic community and the government. How to play the advantages of social work and how to participate in poverty alleviation also has become the focus of academic research.The objective of intervention of social work in poor communities is to enhance the ability and capacity building for the poor. Applying empowerment theory, participatory and regional development model, Asset-Based Community Development(ABCD),Social workers provide services for Children with disabilities, left-behind children, left behind women, and the poor in poor communities. Social workers have completed the goal of increasing their power for them in the community. Through project evaluation, we can see that the social work intervention is not only feasible, but also effective.
