In recent years, with the development of economy and the enhancement of the sense of independence, the contradiction in marital relationship has gradually expanded, thus increasing the number of single parent families. The social service development statistics bulletin mentioned that there were more than363.7 million divorced couples in 2014,of which the gross divorce rate was 2.6 per thousand;the number of divorced couples in 2015 was 384.1 million,of which the divorce rate was 2.7 per thousand;the divorced couples in 2016 were in total. There are 4 million 158 thousand pairs,of which the crude divorce rate is 3 per thousand. The increasing number of single parent families has produced more and more social problems, which has also attracted more researchers' attention to the growth of single parent families, children and adolescents. In this study,1679 primary and middle school students in Taiyuan and Fanshi,Shanxi Province, were investigated by questionnaire and interview.Among them, there were 145 single parent families, and the proportion of the total number was 8.6%.We hope to explore the relationship between resilience and mental health of primary and secondary school students, and the relationship between them. This study draws the following conclusions:1.In mental health, primary and middle school students in single parent families showed higher level of psychological problems compared with complete family primary and secondary school students;in sex, girls showed greater degree of horror, allergic tendencies and self reproach;in the type of upbringing, the primary and middle school students in single parent families did not show differences;in the result of grade difference, the mental resilience of the lower grade students was lower than those of the senior grade students.2.In the mental resilience, the primary and middle school students in single parent families and the primary and middle school students in the whole family have no significant difference in each dimension and the total score of the mental resilience. In the only child or not,the non only child is more optimistic and upward cognition than the only child in the positive cognitive dimension : in terms of gender, boys in single parent families did not show a difference compared with girls;in the type of dependency, the scores of primary and secondary school students raised by their grandparents were higher than those raised by parents;in grade aspect, the students in the lower grades scored higher than those of the higher grade students.3.There is a significant negative correlation between the total score of resilience and five dimensions and the total score of mental health as well as the eight dimensions of single parent family.4.After controlling the relevant information background,it is found that the mental resilience of primary and secondary school students in single parent families can be negatively predicted in the two dimensions of family support and emotional control, which means that the more emotional control and family support of primary and secondary school students in single parent families, the lower the mental health scores and the higher the health level.5.The study found that the type of rearing, the age of one parent, the education of the father, the gender consistency of the child and the child have a regulatory role in the relationship between the mental resilience and mental health of primary and middle school students in single parent families.
