With the rising divorce rate in China and the casualties caused by various accidents,more and more families become single parent families.These children’s psychology maybe cause trauma,we have to face up to this social problem.The number of single parent is gradually increasing,and children living in such families are more likely to lead to emotional sensitivity and vulnerability,or inferiority,seclusion,prudence,reticence,or willful,rebellious,hegemonic,the education of single parent children has become an important problem facing the society and schools.Especially in secondary vocational schools,students are in a rebellious period,with low academic performance and poor self-control ability,so there are relatively many problems.Therefore,it has become an important task and requirement for secondary vocational schools to correctly understand the mental health problems of single-parent family students,analyzing the causes,exploring effective policies,and helping and promoting the healthy growth of these students.This article surveyed the second-year college students of Zhaotong Vocational Education Center,156 students were randomly selected from accounting major,e-commerce major,automobile application,maintenance major and urban rail transit major.Through questionnaire survey,interview and other methods to understand the psychological status of single parent students,analyze the causes of mental health problems of single parent students in secondary vocational schools,and explore the causes Seek effective education strategies to maintain and improve students’ mental health.The results show that: 1.The mental health test results of secondary vocational school students in single parent family and double parent family show that: in somatization,obsession,interpersonal sensitivity,depression,anxiety,hostility,terror,paranoia and other aspects(mainly reflecting sleep and diet),the scores of secondary vocational school students in single parent family are significantly higher than those of secondary vocational school students in double parent family.2.Vocational students in single-parent families scored higher on all factors of SCL-90 than vocational students in two-parent families.This indicates that there is a certain gender difference in mental health between single parent families and two-parent families.3.The factor scores of anxiety,paranoia,interpersonal sensitivity,hostility and terror of single parent students were significantly higher than those of double parent students.4.The influence of single parent family on academic,psychological,behavior and parent-child relationship is significantly higher than that of two parent family.5.Gender,only child or not,education mode and father’s monthly income are important factors that affect the mental health of single parent family.Therefore,according to the physical and mental characteristics of secondary vocational school students,this paper puts forward the four in one education strategy of "society,school,family and individual" to help single parent secondary vocational school students improve their mental health level and cultivate good personality quality.
