My Root Is In The Primary School

Education is the foundation of a nation.The hope of rejuvenating a nation is education and the hope of rejuvenating education is in teachers.The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that morality and be a true man must be the basic task of education and the cultivation of the socialism builders and successors with full development of morality,wisdom,physique and aesthetics is the aim of education.Teachers are the key of promoting education and they take up the responsibility of teaching.Enhancing teachers' ethic construction and promoting teachers' sense of responsibility and mission are not only the demand of the times,but also the need of teachers' development.Except imparting knowledge,teachers must teach students how to be a human.Only the teacher with high sense of responsibility can take the heavy responsibility of teaching.This thesis uses methods of observation,interview and text analysis to study a primary school teacher's sense of responsibility who has devoted himself to education for more than 40 years.The research data was obtained through long-term observation and in-depth interviews,then sorted out his growth track and responsibility on the basis of the collating data.This thesis analyses MR.X's sense of responsibility and its influencing factors from the following parts:educating students learn to be a human,learn to study,learn to deal with the relationships with classmates and teachers,teachers' educational ideas and life pursuit and their professional development.The study found that MR.X was influenced by his parents and teachers,affected by his living environment and driven by his mission,and after a long practice,he formed the strong sense of responsibility of everything for students,being a guardian of students,rooting in the primary school and devoting the whole life to education.As a teacher,he knows the importance of his responsibility very well and it's his love for students and his persistence of job make him extraordinary today.His strong sense of responsibility brings children happiness.His professional development was affected by his educational concept,ideas and goal.Inspired and enlightened by his story,every teacher must set up the concept:for every students' development;being a teacher of imparting knowledge and teaching students to be a real human;understanding,respecting,caring and treating students equally and trying to be the guardian and friend of students;taking the correct attitude towards scores and learning to reflect oneself frequently.Every teacher should endeavor himself to guard the education.
