Research On The Protection Of The Rights And Interests For The Porters From The Perspective Of Empowerment Theory

Porters are engaged in the task of loading and unloading goods and relying on working by their own labors to get paid.Their working methods are mostly casual workers,zero-time workers,high work intensity,excessive working hours,and have difficulties in getting their own vacation rights.This kind of high-risk work-related accidents are often difficult to protect with work-related injury insurance.The situation of arrears of employees and deduction of wages also occurs from time to time.They are vulnerable groups in urban life.Since China's institutional reforms have not achieved.Those effectively implemented policies and regulations concerning the protection of rights and interests of porters have not been carried out,which has largely limited the involvement of social workers in the protection of porters' rights and interests.Our country has joined the search for a new institutional innovation and integration in institutional innovation.The purpose of social work is to help people to help themselves.At the same time,they value and meet the needs of different groups and individuals.While improving the level of social welfare,they can improve the quality of social life.Finally,they can integrate individuals into society and achieve harmony.Therefore,in the light of the impaired rights of porters,social workers need to carry out intervention services through social work organizations under the theoretical guidance of empowerment,which fully highlights the role of social work to protect the legal rights of porters.This article mainly adopts the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,in-depth interview method,participation observation method and other research methods to develop the dissertation statement.It is based on the practical experience of social work intervention of service porters in the six months since the author's L social work service agency.Then,we analyzed the rights and interests of porters through the case of porters in J Logistics Park.The focus of this paper is on the basis of the "power theory" of social work theory to solve and analyze a series of problems existing in the protection of porters' rights and interests,and to carry outintervention services through practical methods of case work and community work.In response to these issues,we adopt professional social work,treatment and assistance,and finally assess the effectiveness of interventions in social work,so as to analyze the effectiveness and deficiencies of social work intervention in the protection of rights and interests of porters and provide solutions and strategies for solving this problem.
