The Research On Living Condition And The Social Integration Of Floating Population

There was a report pointed out that the total number of floating population in China continued to grow during the period from 2011 to 2014.It can be predicted that in the long-term period in the future,the large-scale migration of the population will still be one of the major social phenomena when it is social transformation,economic transformation and demographic transition in China.Under the background of this era,China needs to attach great importance to the problems when the floating population in the process of social integration in the inflow areas,and promote the social integration of the floating population through developing and improving the floating population management system,so as to achieve the stable development of urban society.Finally to achieve the goal of building a harmonious society.The problem of residence and housing is the first issue that floating population face if they want to work and live in cities.The status of residence and housing has an important impact on the physical and mental development,social integration of floating population.Based on a review of social integration's concept,theory and measurement,the paper summarizes the foreign and domestic's research on the influence of living conditions,housing policies and mixed living on the social integration of floating population from the perspective of housing and housing.Find that there are some conclusions in the research on the social integration of floating population from the aspect of the differences in the living conditions of floating population and local people and whether they are mixed living.But lacking the research on the impact of the differences in the living conditions of the floating population on their social integration,also lacking the research and the data on the impact of one of the important aspects of housing security the housing fund on the social integration.And whether mixed living promotes the social integration is controversial.The paper starts from these three aspects and makes research hypotheses.It uses quantitative research to explore the impact of the living and housing conditions of floating population on their social integration more comprehensively,in order to give some more rationalized and targeted suggestions on the promotion of social integration of floating population..Living conditions,housing security and living environment are operationalized into five variables the housing price,the nature of the housing,housing funds,the nature of the community and community types according to the contents of the questionnaire.Using Stata/MP 12.0 software,based on the dynamic monitoring data of the floating population in 2013,using factor analysis,the paper constructs a three-level index system to measure the social integration of floating population,calculates the social integration index,and scores each dimension,compares the differences in the social integration of different types of floating population from the perspective of housing and housing.By constructing a mixed-effects sub-model,it is found that the features of the sample point level have a major effect on the differences of the social integration of floating population,and illustrate the necessity of adopting a mixed-effect model.By constructing a comprehensive model of the social fusion composite index and the scores of each dimension,focusing on and explaining the coefficients of the independent variables in the fixed effects,it is found that each housing and housing condition significantly affected the social integration composite index;By changing the reference group of each housing and housing condition,it is found that not show significant differences in the social integration of floating population in every category of housing and housing.There is no significant difference in the social integration of floating population of“government providing renting”,“self-renting”and“informal housing”in the nature of housing.There is no significant difference in the social integration of the floating population in "have local but don't have in old home”and“have local also have in old home”and“have in old home but don't have local”,indicating that“government providing renting”is not an influencing factor to promote the social integration of floating populations,the possession of“private property house”can effectively promote the social integration,and“the existence of the housing fund”rather than“the existence of the local housing fund”significantly affects the social integration.It is also found that each housing and housing condition does not have a significant impact on the various dimensions of the social integration of floating population.Based on the actual situation,the reasons for the differences and the impact paths are analyzed,and each housing and housing condition is taken into consideration for each dimension,there are some ideas can promote the social integration of floating populations:Encourage life enthusiasm and enhance life confidence;Improve the housing provident fund system,increase the ownership rate of private property ownership;Strengthen the construction of community organizations and encourage the development of community activities;Improve the construction of mixed housing-oriented housing policies.
