As a new interdisciplinary subject,the educational economy and management major covers pedagogy,management,and economics.It is a comprehensive discipline that studies the relationship and development rule of economy and education.The educational economy and management specialty has been in existence for 20 years since its birth in 1998 to2018.So far,there are 120 master's degree authorization points and 26 doctoral authorization points in the country,which shows that the development speed is fast.However,as a young discipline,there have been some universal issues of the new major since its inception,such as unreasonable curriculum system,the lack of academic researchers,the low degree of professional identity,difficulties in graduates employment and other issues.After twenty years of development,how to develop educational economy and management specialty should arouse the attention and reflection of researchers of related disciplines.Based on this,this study is based on interdisciplinary theory,and analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the educational economy and management major.And selected the 11 universities offering education economy and management majors.Tsinghua University,Renmin University of China,Fudan University;Beijing Normal University,Shanghai Normal University,South China Normal University;Foreign economic and trade University,Shanxi University of Finance and Economics,Shandong University of finance and Economics;Huazhong University of Science and Technology,Wuhan University of Technology conduct research and research.By analyzing the training programs and training objectives of universities,curriculum settings,tutor and student situation,and investigating the professional identity of postgraduates and the status of graduates of educational economy and management through questionnaires and interviews to further understand this major professional development,combined with the development experience of foreign elite education and management majors,this study will provide suggestions for disciplines from curriculum system settings,professional teaching staff,student professional identification and employment of graduates,in order to provide a new choice for the development of this major profession and talent cultivation.
