"Positive Discipline":Intervention Research On Parenting Crisis

Parents are the first teacher in children's contact and play a vital role in their children's growth.The traditional authoritative,autocratic or laissez-faire unhealthy rearing patterns have caused a series of problems in their children's mental health,character and socialization.What is more,all the ways lead to tension in the relationship between parents and children.Under extreme circumstances,bad parental rearing patterns will not only cause family tragedies,but also lead to social problems.Therefore,this paper selects the case analysis of parental rearing crisis group work practice intervention,taking a parent education group of P street in Guangzhou as an example,in order to explain and analyze the forms of parental rearing crisis mainly divided into three aspects: the misplacement of the concept of rearing,the failure of the practice of rearing and the alienation of the relationship between parents and children.Based on the positive discipline,this paper conducts a practical intervention study on parenting crisis,and intervenes from three dimensions of parenting cognition,rearing behavior and parent-child relationship.The practical results show that the score of the group members has a higher score,whether it is the positive education questionnaire or the feedback table of the service object.And 75% of the members have improved the education status significantly and the education ability has been obviously enhanced.In addition,the group helps to build informal mutual aid networks among parents.It was found that the parents of the crisis of rearing had a good change in the concept of rearing,rearing behavior and parent-child relations by taking part in the positive management group.At the same time,apart from the active participation of group members in the group process,the study of positive discipline also focuses on the practice and application of team members after the group.In this regard,it is suggested that the combination of online and offline groups should consolidate the effectiveness of the group and the positive effect of positive discipline on the improvement of parenting styles.
