With the acceleration of economic globalization and the transfer of international industry, more and more Chinese migrate to other countries and operate multinational companies.Under the pressure of work or life, they have to send their children born in foreign countries back to China. This trend increases in recent years. After brought up in China for three to ten years and achieving the initial socialization, those children return to their parents, continue to accept foreign education, and finally complete the socialization. They will experience a cross cultural adaptation. It is vitally important to successfully integrate into the foreign family life, school education and social environment, support the healthy growth of children and the transnational families. From a strategic height, they needs closely attention because they are important overseas Chinese resources and foreign relations to Chinese government and society. This study selects the typical overseas Chinese Township-L District of Wenzhou as an example and applies field investigation, interviews and non participatory and other research methods. The author found some common similarities among these children:parent-child alienation, fail to adapt to foreign school education because of poor English, lack of peer groups, interpersonal constraints, lack of confidence and social support, social integration difficulties and other issues.Under the guide of latest theories of transnationalism, social support and group dynamics, the research invites a group of multinational children who are about to return to foreign countries hoping to improve their cross-cultural adaptation ability by carrying out a series of activities, give full play to their power and cohesion, mine their potentials and skills, help team members successfully complete the process of cross-cultural adaptation, realize integration into foreign society. After the team work, the researcher evaluates the group as a whole comprehensively:individual changes, feedback from multinational family. Results show that the method can effectively help foster foreign children’s cross-cultural adaptation ability.China social workers should intervene to cultivate their sense of cultural intimacy,in order to remove cross-cultural barriers more smoothly,to achieve social integration. This research is a beneficial attempt to enhance the international competence of cross-cultural adaptation of child rearing, but because cross-cultural adaptation ability is influenced by individual characteristics, transnational families, various factors in the social living environment, the lack of cross-cultural social work, and social workers are difficult to effectively dock together in international child services,to a certain extent limit, they influence the reliability and validity of this study.
