Parenting self-efficacy of child mother refers to the evaluation of child mothers' ability to become effective and competent mothers and the ability to exert positive influence on children's behavior and development when performing parenting behaviors. In the new social environment, traditional methods of suppression, indulgence, and neglect are no longer effective.Parents are struggling to find effective ways to cope with their children's growth challenges(for example cultivate their good qualities and abilities),and cultivate themselves poor efficacy.Especially in the early childhood stage of developing self and character,as a mother of the main companion, her parenting self-efficacy often directly affects the quality of her parenting and the confidence and ability felt in parental roles.Positive discipline is a discipline method that neither punishes nor spoils children.Scholars have found that intervention activities centered on positive discipline methods have a significant positive effect on the improvement of parenting self-efficacy.However,domestic scholars have mainly carried out related research on using positive discipline in class management or group psychological intervention, and there is no intervention study on positive discipline intervention in raising parenting self-efficacy by using group work methods. In view of this, this study takes middle class young children mothers as the research object, and explores its role in raising parenting self-efficacy by conducting positive disciplinary work.Based on this, according to the results of the "Questionnaire for Parenting Self-Efficacy of Middle Class Young Children Mothers",this study selected 28 middle class young child mothers with low scores in parenting self-efficacy and positive discipline learning experience. As a research object, the mothers of middle class young children were randomly assigned to the experimental group(14)and the control group(14);Secondly,a six-section positive disciplinary group activity was conducted for the experimental group, during which the control group did not carry out any intervention activities; Finally, according to the difference between the scores of the experimental group and the control group before and after the test and the effectiveness of the group, discuss the effectiveness and practical experience of the positive disciplinary group work in improving the parenting self-efficacy of middle class young children mothers. The study found:1.The parenting self-efficacy of middle class young children mothers was at a generallevel before group intervention;2.Mothers of middle class young children have less exposure to positive discipline related learning;3.Positive discipline group work can effectively improve the parenting self-efficacy of mothers of middle class young children;4.Mothers of middle class young children need long-term support in the process of establishing parenting self-efficacy.Based on the above results, this study analyzes the underlying causes and puts forward related countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of parenting self-efficacy of mothers of young children involved in social work in the future,including:1.Promote the concept and method of positive discipline group work;2.Establish a persistent tracking and support mechanism for the positive discipline group work;3.Enrich the learning forms of positive discipline in the process of social work service.
