High school curriculum reform has been carried out for eight years in Zhengzhou,with the engagement problem between junior middle school mathematics and senior high school mathematics increasingly prominent.It influences the senior high school mathematics teaching effects and quality in different degrees,causing sharp grades slip among some senior-one students.Compared with junior middle school,senior high school students have to face the large span of knowledge,ability and learning methods.It is very urgent for us to study knowledge engagement between junior and senior high schools,design effective methods to guide students,so that they can pass the transition period from junior middle school to senior high school smoothly.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter sketches the research background,namely the research proposing,related research status,the meaning and purpose of this study,deals with research process.The second chapter introduces main methods and experience.The questionnaire method is adopted to get to know the learning and engagement situation of mathematics in four representative senior high schools in Zhengzhou,and analyzes the survey results as well.This part also analyzes the reason for engagement problem from textbook,mathematics curriculum standards,teachers and students.The three part introduces research effects,which put forward countermeasures of mathematics engagement.The fourth part describes existing problems and research prospects.
