Calligraphy is the most representative art treasure of Chinese traditional culture,and calligraphy education is the basis for the transmission and development of calligraphy.In the ancient education system,calligraphy is the necessary skill for literati,thus,calligraphy teaching is of great importance and value because of its high practicability.However,with the arrival of the information age,interpersonal communication,learning and people's lifestyle are followed by a huge change.The calligraphy development is lagging behind in the practical field because of new media tools,and there are many problems in the development and implementation of calligraphy education in high school.But with the development of international communication,calligraphy has become one of the most characteristic Chinese classical cultures and an important part of modern Chinese culture.Calligraphy education has been supported by national education department gradually.At the same time,with the gradual promotion of quality education,calligraphy teaching becomes a necessary method to improve students' comprehensive quality.calligraphy teaching is necessary and should be well protected.Based on the main problems of calligraphy teaching in Linfen No.1 Middle School of Shanxi Province,and combined with my own teaching practice,this paper explores from the following parts:The first part introduces the basic situation of the teaching of calligraphy in Linfen,and summarizes the main problems of calligraphy teaching:students lack of understanding of calligraphy art;teaching objectives are not clear;teaching method is relatively simple.The second part is aimed at the problems existing in the teaching of calligraphy in Linfen.Combining with the age characteristics of senior high school students and their acceptance of knowledge,and according to my teaching practice,this part only discusses and explores the teaching content and teaching focus,teaching goal,teaching methods,teaching channel and teaching evaluation of brush calligraphy.The third part shows the specific application teaching case-"Knowledge and Appreciation of Regular Script " and analyses the teaching focus,teaching objectives,teaching methods and evaluation used in teaching case,explaining the application of brush calligraphy teaching research in teaching examples specifically.The fourth part summarizes the achievements and reflections of brush calligraphy teaching practice in Linfen No.1 Middle School.The teaching practice and exploration of brush calligraphy led to the increase of students'writing level,and drives the level of hard writing.At the same time,the calligraphy activities enrich the students'extracurricular life,forming a good learning atmosphere.However,due to the lack of experience and some objective conditions,there are still some shortcomings in brush calligraphy teaching.The author needs to reflect and explore gradually.With the increasing attention of Chinese culture and art,calligraphy,a national culture speciality and classic,began to be re-valued.Calligraphy teaching will get more support by the national education department's policy and people will attach more importance to it.This paper aims at the research and exploration of brush calligraphy teaching in Linfen No.l Middle School,hoping to improve the calligraphy teaching situation in the school by my efforts,and makes contributions to the development of calligraphy teaching in high school.
