Research On The Current Situation Of Adolescent Amateur Basketball Training In Xining

With the rapid development of basketball in China,teenagers has shown great love and paid close attention to basketball.In 2015,one option of the sports tests in the Senior High School Entrance Examination of Xining City is basketball,then in 2016 the first Secondary School Basketball League of Qinghai Province was held,and the teenagers' interest was further strengthened.Adolescent amateur basketball training in Xining has also been developed,however,the existing problems,such as the facilities and the teachers,the teenagers' physical quality and basketball level,should be improved and advanced.It is the investigation and study of the adolescent amateur basketball training in Xining that is undoubtedly of great significance for improving the teenagers' physical fitness and the development of basketball.The research object of this article is the adolescent amateur basketball training in Xining.The research methods adopted include literature searching,questionnaire survey,field investigation and mathematical statistics,investigated and analyzed the basic conditions and institutions of adolescent amateur basketball training in Xining,including their faculty and students,the teaching condition and feedbacks etc.Five main conclusions are as follows:(1)There are lots of problems faced by the training institutions: lack of basketball court,the uneven facilities,fairly short establishment and all the training centers are at their starting stage,the expensive training fees.(2)There are fewer coaches in the adolescent amateur basketball training institutions in Xining.The coaches are mostly well-educated and tend to be younger,and working years are generally short and lacking of teaching experience.(3)Most of the students in adolescent amateur basketball training institutions in Xining are from Chengxi District and Chengzhong District.Mostly aged 13-16,which is of 47% of all students.The training time is basically on weekend and summer or winter vacations.(4)The teaching methods of the adolescent amateur basketball training institutions in Xining include: class teaching method,group teaching method,location teaching method,summer camp special training method,etc.;teaching contents include: warm-up,ball practice,basic exercises,skill learning,confrontation practice and so on.(5)The teaching feedback of the adolescent amateur basketball training institution of Xining includes: the basketball court and facilities cannot fully meet the training requirements;the satisfaction of the trainees with the coaches is 88.7%;most of the trainees(95.3%)believe that the training of the adolescent amateur basketball training does not affect normal study in daily life or it has a positive impact;parents think training costs need to be adjusted;more than 90% of parents support the adolescent to continue to participate in amateur basketball training.
