As a materialized product of curriculum reform,teaching material embodies the idea and content of new curriculum reform,and it is the content carrier that enables students to meet the objective requirements stipulated in the curriculum standard.In essence,teaching material is not only an information resource,but also a direct tool and means to promote students' development.The quality of the teaching materials directly determines the quality of students' learning.A healthy and active teaching material can not only help students to form a correct,positive and positive outlook on life and values,but also help students to further absorb the knowledge of chemistry,broaden the students' enthusiasm for chemistry learning and widen their field of vision.Therefore,it is very important to choose textbooks that are suitable for students to learn and bring fun to students without losing educational significance.On the basis of the related researches on reading materials in senior high school chemistry textbooks,this paper takes constructive theory as the basis,takes reading materials in high school chemistry textbooks as the research object,and analyzes the function of reading materials,the present situation of reading materials and the teaching strategy of reading materials.This paper makes use of the questionnaire method,investigation method,interview method and other research methods,investigates the feedback of teachers and students on the use of reading materials in the experimental textbook of standard high school curriculum standard(compulsory 1)published by the People Education Press in Xining.The factors affecting the use of reading materials for teachers and students are obtained,and the corresponding teaching suggestions are given.The reading materials in high school chemistry textbooks have the functions of cultivating students' scientific literacy,stimulating students' interest in learning,expanding and perfecting the cognitive structure,improving the students' non-intelligence factors and cooperative consciousness.Through the investigation and study of reading materials used by teachers and students,it is found that the application of reading materials is not optimistic.The specific performance is that the students are too passive to use reading materials,lack of interest and initiative,and teachers have concerns about the arrangement of reading materials in the teaching process.Therefore,according to the investigation situation,the teaching strategies for the effective use of reading materials are put forward: use the reading materials to create the situation for teaching;use the "scientific history" in the reading materials to cultivate students' emotional attitude values;use "data cards" in the reading materials to deepen the application and understanding of students' knowledge;use the "scientific vision" in the reading material to strengthen the connection between chemistry and STSE;use the "hints" in the reading material to cause the students to think and pay attention to the key knowledge.It is found that reading material is an indispensable part of the textbook.Teachers should update their ideas in time to put the class into practice,adopt various teaching methods to use reading materials for teaching,and at the same time,teachers should strengthen their study and broaden their own knowledge.In the process of composing reading materials in high school chemistry textbooks,the reading psychology of students should be considered.The content of reading materials should be updated in time.The content of reading materials should be strengthened with the links of science,technology,society and environment.
