Humans are specially existing in living nature.Apart from the biological attribute as primates,humans have an apparent characteristic different from other animals,that is humans are existing reasonably.There are two kinds of humans cognition and practice:rational and irrational.Humans have never stopped exploring reason from Aristotle's practical wisdom,Kant's pure reason and practical reason to that Hegel and Marx made further complement and development.Morality itself is a production of reason.Without reason,humans will not have morality,let alone moral education.That humans are existing reasonably makes moral education possible,thus we can explore moral theory.Understanding moral education and life moral education play an important part at present.Understanding moral education emphasizes to acquire moral knowledge and improve moral cognition.The biggest feature is to turn morality into knowledge and education into subject.Although understanding moral education have made some brilliant achievements during certain history,it lacks motivation and hard to keep lasting vitality for its division into practice and life.Under this circumstance,life moral education appears.It stresses life,coming from life and back to life,based on the real living condition,concrete life incidents and vivid life experience.But during the process,it makes morality the whole life,mixing moral education and life completely.Meanwhile,the two theories can not settle the problem of “knowing morality but not doing”or even “deliberately losing morality”.at this time,practical reason is presented for making up this disadvantage.Aristotle states that “supreme good”is humans' final and highest destination.In order to reach this destination,under the guidance of “practical wisdom”,we must take action to cultivate morality,tell good from bad and obey “moderation”.Kant also made “supreme good” final destination,but he stresses practical reason.He made a further explanation that moral problems must be into practical reason,promoting the division of pure reason and practical reason,theory of two practice“ and the definition of natural causality and free causality.As a kind of moral existence,humans possess autonomy of the will and free causality.The transcendental categorical imperative turn humans' subjective norms into common rules by will.Therefore,will possesses the ability of self-legislature,which makes practical reason have a powerful morality,makes reason self-legislature through will,and obey the moral rules.Taking the cultivation of good will as the core,practical reason not only seeks truth,but also seeks good and beauty,which makes morality come from everyone's heart automatically,thus to real self-discipline.
