With the continuous development of Chinese society, the group of migrant children generated during the social transformation stage has also received more and more attention.Their peer communication has become an important topic for academic research on their social integration.Good peer communication helps them better adapt to the urban environment and achieve integration. This article is based on the children’s growth education project "Inheriting Zaozhuang Intangible Cultural Heritage" implemented at S Primary School in Zaozhuang City, and takes migrant children from S Primary School as the research object.Through participatory observation, interviews, and other methods,it is found that the main problems in peer communication among migrant children are lack of self-confidence,low initiative, insufficient communication skills, and weak peer relationship networks,The practical goal is to establish a platform for peer communication among migrant children, enriching the practical field of social work intervention in peer communication among migrant children.Through preliminary investigation, research, and testing, the author selected 10 typical migrant children as service targets,in order to improve their current communication status and provide targeted interventions on their peer communication abilities.Adopting the principles of social work, combined with practical situations, and using group work to solve the peer relationship problems of these migrant children.During the service process,we improved the current situation of migrant children lacking peer group interaction through seven service processes, including "first meeting, cheering you the best, the best of us,and I am a social influencer".After a comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness, group activities can greatly improve the participation of migrant children, encourage them to participate more actively in social activities, and help them establish good social relationships with others. Finally,in the process of summarizing and reflecting on group activities,it can be concluded that the effectiveness of group activities should be continuously improved in order to achieve better service results.Through this activity,we found that using group work to help migrant children is very practical. This approach can not only help these children find companions, but also increase their social interaction range, help them discover their self-worth,and help them form good social relationships with our society. In addition,we also need to conduct in-depth research on the practical content and effectiveness of group work in helping to solve the problem of peer interaction among migrant children.
