Constructivism learning advocates motivating students' initiative and believes knowledge is acquired by means of students' active learning in the real situation.Investigative study has been sought after by people all over the world and become a required course in high school of our country.It advocates taking students as the main body and letting them research the subjects by themselves,aiming to foster students'innovative spirit and practical ability to train qualified people to meet the needs of our country.Although China has provided the development of investigative study with support on the system,as a newborn thing,it also ineluctably appears some problems and difficulties.As one of the educational ideologies and concepts respected by the countries in the world,The combination of the two educational thoughts can give full play to students' subject iveinitiative and integrated development.So the research is produced in this context,researching the investigative study in Chemistry from the perspective of social constructivism.According to the questions and the characteristics of this research,I did a research on the members of the Chemistry Club in the Zhuzhou No.2 Middle School by documentary historical method,questionnaire survey,observational survey and case study.The thesis has four parts.The first part is the introduction,which states the proposal of the questions in the research,the research status at home and abroad,the contents and meanings of this research and the thinking and method for the research.The second part is the literature review.It mainly focuses on and expounds some aspects of social constructivism,investigative study and investigative study in Chemistry,such as the meanings,theoretical basis,characteristics,general pattern of implementation and evaluation,providing the theory instruction for the development of investigative study in Chemistry from the perspective social constructivism.The third part is the practice research,which is proved by the study object—the chemistry club of Zhuzhou No.2 Middle School and develops the investigative study around the two "close to" of chemistry—close to life,close to the society during the whole fall semester in 2016.Each group decides the correct topic of the project and writes the topic report based on a problem in their life and the society.Each group carries out their experiment researches according to each one's task and cooperation,expresses and shares their ideas through writing papers,communication and discussion with other groups.The last part of the thesis is the conclusion and discussion.It was found that their senses of cooperation and cooperation skills have been improved to a certain extent after a term's practical research.We believe that the reasons for the improvement are mainly related to the students' attitudes,the experiment's time and the harmonious relationship between teachers and students.In the process of the experiment,we were also faced with some problems and puzzles.Taking the reality into consideration,we put forward a few suggestions and reflections,hoping to have some effect and help to such similar researches or Constructivism study in the future.
