At present, the frequency of the high school biology teachers use concept map orthe mind map teaching more and more high, but the figure of the confusing usage willincrease the cognitive load of students. Therefore, distinguish between concept mapand mind map is particularly important.This research through two figures’"knowledge","the awareness of distinguishtwo figures" and "the behavior of distinguish two figures " three dimensions ofinvestigation and study of the junior middle school and high school biology teachersin suzhou for concept map and mind map,won the junior middle school and highschool biology teachers to figure the distinguish of the data, to understand the biologyteacher for the distinction between the status quo. The main conclusions from thisstudy are as follows:1, knowledge of concept map and mind map: master degree is junior and seniorhigh school biology teacher is poorer, theoretical study about two figure needs to bestrengthened.2, the awareness of distinguish two figures: there is no difference between juniorhigh school biology teacher and high school biology teachers, to distinguish theconsciousness is relatively weak, teachers haven’t realized the concept map and mindmap are different figures, about to distinguish the concept map and the consciousnessof mind mapping needs to be strengthened.3, the behavior of distinguish two figures: junior middle school and high school biology teachers have lower scores. Indicates that teachers have not distinctionbetween concept map and mind map into the daily teaching activities, to distinguishthe concept map and must vigorously strengthen the mind mapping behavior.4, high school biology teachers in suzhou to distinguish the concept map and theinfluence factors of mind map, the "job title" there is no significant impact on threedimensions;"Gender" and "the school level" to "knowledge of concept map and mindmap" and " the awareness of distinguish two figures " these two dimensions have nosignificant effect, but for " the behavior of distinguish two figures " has significantinfluence.5, junior high school biology teachers in suzhou to distinguish the concept mapand the influence factors of mind mapping,"gender" and "title" to "knowledge ofconcept map and mind map","he awareness of distinguish two figures" and " thebehavior of distinguish two figures " have significant impact.All in all, high school biology teachers in suzhou about concept map and mindmap the distinction between the present situation investigation and study, to eachschool and education management department provides a strengthen the thinking ofteachers specialization.
