At present, the issues concerning agriculture, farmer and countryside have become the crucial problem for China. To be specific, how to improve the living standards of farmers, how to achieve the getting rich together among other people and how to realize modernization in the countryside are the primary tasks for the country. The root of the problem lies in the development of education in the countryside and the improvement of farmers'scientific and cultural qualities. And the key to the development of education in the countryside is the emphasis on the development of the teaching staff, especially those concerning compulsory education. Recently, the development of the teaching staff in the countryside has made great progress, but the overall condition remains poor. Although there had been great research achievement in the academic circles, they have great divergence. Research in the macro-level stresses on the abstract theories. It is not considerably manageable and incapable of reflecting teachers'practice. On the contrary, research at the micro-level emphasizes on specific problems. It is often criticized as not taking the holistic view and thus ineffective in improving the situation. Therefore the emphasis on the rural teacher'construction should change the malady that educational theories deviate from the practice, and should pay attention to the middle-level , that is to say, we could make up the standard for the rural teacher'construction to improve the situation. Author is going to have a try in the paper. By exploring the standard, the paper hopefully does a humble effort to make up the standard for the overall teacher'construction. In viewing of this, the paper hopefully supports an effective development idea for widening the research field of rural teacher's problem, enhancing the influence of educational theories for practice and constructing a manageable platform for the teachers'development in the countryside.By reading a lot of documents and material and doing comparative study, the paper analyzes the achievements and problem in the rural teacher'construction since our country begins to implement the reform and opening up policy. Based on the conscientious analysis for the rural education, the paper explores the standards for the teachers'construction in the countryside. At last, the paper offers the strategies that could fulfill the required standards. To be specific, there are three sections in the paper:The first section describes and analyzes the present situation of the l teaching staff in the countryside. It involves not only the achievements and also the problems. The main problems are deficiencies in quantities, structure, qualities, diploma, hardness in further education and instability.
