Research On Social Work Intervention Of Urban Widowed Old Orphans Social Support Network Rebuilding

With the changes in the social environment of our country,the increase of urbanization rate,the change of family structure and the change of people's ideology and ideas,many families have emerged as empty nesters living alone.When one of the older couples dies in advance,it will inevitably affect the other.One side has caused great harm.As the children are busy with work,it is becoming more and more common for many elderly people in urban communities to live alone after their death.It is difficult for the elderly widowers living alone to be satisfied with spiritual comfort,psychological adjustment,and life care.The social support network is a network of social individuals in the process of interacting with the surrounding environment.Individuals can use the social support network to obtain resources and support that are beneficial to themselves so as to effectively resolve the crisis and maintain the normal operation of life.This study selected a single elderly person living alone in the Z community in Xiamen City to engage in case intervention and applied a case study method to analyze and evaluate the crisis situation of the spouse' s bereavement.Supporting network theory,taking the development phase of the psychological crisis of the service object as the basis for intervention,referring to the intervention point of the Roberts Crisis Intervention Theory Model,and responding to the development phase of the crisis,adopting appropriate intervention strategies to rebuild the social support network of the service target.The findings of this study are as follows:1.Social support networks for urban widows and elderly living alone have problems such as reduced scale,single structure,unbalanced relationship and interaction strength,availability of abundant resources but low utilization,etc 2.Promotion of cognitive change and encouragement "Going out" to promote community integration and improve the use of social support network capacity will help widows and elderly people living alone to rebuild their social support networks;3.Social rehabilitation of elderly widowers living alone based on crisis intervention model will have more obvious intervention opportunities and interventions.The advantages.However,due to the fact that this study case is an elderly person living alone in the early days of widowhood,it has a certain degree of particularity.Therefore,the results of this study may not necessarily apply to all widows who live alone.
