Mind map is a tool for expressing divergent thinking with charts.It was proposed by Tony Buzan in Britian and called the “Swiss Army Knife of the Brain”.It is a graphical way and mesh-like structures,adding key words and key images,storing,organizing and optimizing information.After consulting relevant literature,most of the researches on mind map still rest on the study of its role.However,research in the field of education,especially the study of history teaching in middle school is still relatively rare.This study is based on mind map application on the history teaching in senior high school.By clarifying the value of mind map in high school history teaching and conducting practical research in concrete teaching examples,at the same time,it analyzes the concrete teaching examples and finds the existing problems to rethink,so as to lay the foundation for the use of mind map in history teaching.The research mainly uses the literature analysis,interviewing method,classroom observation,case study.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn: On the one hand,the research of mind map application on the history teaching in senior high school,which changes traditional teaching methods,strengthens communication between teachers and students,saves class time,improves the efficiency of classroom and students' interest in learning.On the other hand,teachers can teach students in accordance with their aptitude based on the basis and characteristics of different students,so that they can reflect on teaching accordingly.However,due to limitations in experience and ability,this study has certain limitations.
