Curriculum reform is based on the needs of social development,the development of science technology or the reform of education theory.As the implementers,designers and researchers,teachers' participation in curriculum reform greatly affects the effect of new curriculum and even the success or failure of it.At the same time,summarizing the changes and problems which all the teachers meet during the proceeding of the curriculum reform can improve the attention of local education departments to a new round of curriculum reform,laying the foundation for it.This study will extract 31 high schools in 9 different cities of Gansu province.And a total of 301 front-line teachers will be the research object.After making a summary of the literature at home and abroad,I define the meaning of curriculum reform and teachers' participation and use the literature method,the tracking method,questionnaire method and interview method,etc to deal with this research.Summarize the present status of high school geography teachers who participate in curriculum reform through the survey of high school geography teachers' participation in curriculum reform training situation,the identification of the curriculum concept of geography teachers,the understanding of the courses in the curriculum of geography teachers,the problems of geography teachers in the new teaching materials under the guidance of new curriculum and the teaching situation of geography teachers in curriculum reform.By comparing the data of this survey and the previous two data,this paper analyzes the changes of geography teachers in Gansu province during the seven years of curriculum reform.The study found that the geography teachers in Gansu province well participated in the reform of curriculum reform,but the understanding of new curriculum need to be improved.The problems are as follows: the understanding of the concept of new curriculum is not symmetrical,the objective factors influence teachers' attention to curriculum reform,the training that has been held are not fit the needs of the teachers,the study of curriculum standards needs to be improved,there are too many factors influencing teachers to implement curriculum reform such as grasping resource imbalance,the difference between teachers,and the impact of students' learning situation.Based on the above research results,the suggestions will be given in the following five aspects: strengthening the knowledge training which is related to the principle of curriculum reform;reduce the objective factors that affect teachers' participation in curriculum reform,such as ensuring the time and energy of teachers and promoting the unification of student evaluation system and training system,increase the training quantity of teaching,realize network resource sharing,face to the curriculum reform according to the situation of different schools.
