| Education is the driving force for the healthy and sustainable development of the various causes of the party and the country.Th e first thing to solve in the development of education is to solve the problem of “cultivating people for whom”.In different periods of historical development,the party and the state have different discussions on the question of "cultivating people for whom".In December 2016,General secretary of Xi clearly proposed the four-dimensional connotation of " cultivating people for whom " of higher education,namely,serving for the people,serving for the Communist Party of China to govern the country,serving for consolidating and developing the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,and serving for the reform and opening up and socialist modernization,which have pointed out the direction for the development of higher education.College teachers are the main implementers of national education policies and the key forces in the cultivating talents of higher education.Whether or not they agree with the concept of "cultivating people for whom" is of great significance for ensuring the orientation of higher education and cultivating people for the national rejuvenation.This article mainly sorts out the status about teachers’ identity with "cultivating people for whom”,analyzes the causes of the problems and explores the effective countermeasures to promote college teachers’ recognition of"cultivating people for whom"to provide certain theoretical references for better cultivating the socialist builders and reliable successors for the party and the country.First of all,on the basis of interpreting concepts such as “identity” and "cultivating people for whom",it highlights the value orientation of college teachers’ identification with "cultivating people for whom".Meanwhile,the article analyzes theoretical support of research from the Marxist ideology theory,the theory on educators are educated first and western identity theory etc.Secondly,through the method of empirical investigation,the article goes through the comprehensive and in-depth interpretation of the status about the "cultivating people for whom" carried out by college teachers,and analyzes the causes of the problem from the aspects of identification subject,identification object,identification mediator and identity ring.Finally,based on the logical approach to achieving the identificati on process,from theoretical cognition,emotional identity,belief identification,and behavioral identity,the article attempts to seek the effective path for college teachers’ identity with "cultivating people for whom". |
