Ancient poems are precious cultural heritage and they are in a leading position in China's literature.In spite of short length,they have profound significance.Many of them are cited in the Chinese language textbooks of senior high schools,showing their importance in the subject of Chinese language.However,the teaching method of ancient poems is rather dull and single,while students' learning is not satisfactory.This paper bases on “The Senior High School Curriculum Standard-Chinese Language(2017)”,and takes the textbook published by People's Education Press as research object to analyze poems in the required course books and elective course books and to design modules of teaching contents.Also,class teaching examples are covered to explore module teaching of ancient poems in senior high schools.This paper studies the following parts of module teaching of ancient poems in senior high schools.Chapter one is about the course studies and teaching situation of ancient poems in senior high schools.This is to clarify the course function of ancient poems.We should focus on textbook for this content as well as the necessity of changing teaching methods to lay a foundation for further poem teaching in senior high schools.Chapter two is an overview of module teaching of ancient poems in senior high schools.This is to clarify concepts and features of module teaching of ancient poems in senior high schools.On the basis of cognitive theories and construction-ism,the author explores significance of module teaching of ancient poems in senior high schools.Chapter three describes the exploration of teaching implementation.This is the research essence of this paper which aims to give references to module teaching of ancient poems in senior high schools.Chapter 4 is an exploration of Assessment of module teaching of ancient poems in senior high schools.The author offers a supplement and prospect of module teaching.This paper tries to start from ancient poems from textbooks in senior high schools to design modules and summarizes some feasible and applicable methods,which are considered references to module teaching of ancient poems.
