| In the 2011 "Standards for Compulsory Education Geography Curriculum",explicitly put forward that geography curriculum contains rich practical content,the position of geographical practice teaching has been increasingly highlighted.The implementation of geographic practice activities is of great significance for cultivating students ’ interest in learning and improving their abilities.Therefore,it is very necessary to carry out geographical practice activities in the teaching of geography.This paper mainly uses the literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,investigation on the Current Situation of Geography Practice Teaching in S Middle School in Yanji City.Through student questionnaires,teachers interviews,analyze the teaching situation of S Middle School in Yanji and find out the problems and propose a corresponding strategy.Discovered through investigation,the current situation of the teaching practice of geography practice in the middle school of Yanji City is:(1)The students of S Middle School in Yanji City are still very interested in geography classes and geographical practice activities.Geography class has a higher position in the students’ minds.Students are also very willing to actively participate in geographical practice activities.(2)The development status of the geographical practice of S Middle School in Yanji City is:There are many practical activities in class,especially the number of practical activities in material analysis and analysis competitions.However,there have been almost no extracurricular activities and schools have not paid enough attention to geographical practice activities.(3)Geography practice activities have great help in mastering and understanding students’ knowledge,improving interest in geography learning,improving various abilities,promoting relations between teachers and students,and using geographic practice to solve problems.(4)Factors that hinder the development of geographic practices include social school family factors,teacher factors,and student factors.For example,conditions do not allow,safety issues,funding problems,schools do not support,parents do not trust,time is not enough,teachers have limited capabilities.(5)About students’ hopes for geographical practice activities.They hope that they will be able to carry out extracurricular geography practice activities,especially like field trips.The strategies for junior high school geography practice include:(1)Society-creating conditions for the development of geographical practices;Schools--Strengthening the importance of geographical practice activities;Family-Give more support to geographic practice activities.(2)Teachers-improve teachers’ guidance;Pay attention to the cultivation of teachers’ ability;Use of multimedia for geographical practice teaching;Development of rural geography curriculum resources and case design.(3)students-to ensure that the student’s dominant position;Increase knowledge reserves and improve geographic practice activities. |
