Research Of Academic Influence Of Liberal Studies In C9 University

C9 University is an important force in China’s "double first-class" construction,and "double first-class" construction can not be separated from the prosperity of the liberal arts,to grasp the status quo of C9 university liberal arts influence,is conducive to its targeted adjustment of the development direction and overall layout of the discipline,to enhance its core competitiveness and make better progress toward world-class universities.Based on the literature data collected by the SSCI and CSSCI in 2016 and the C9 university as the research object,the study analyzes and compares the international academic influence and domestic academic influence of the arts of the C9 university by subject.As a result,it was found that,first,on the whole,the international academic influence of C9’s liberal arts can be divided into four echelons.Peking University and Tsinghua University constitute the first echelon of international academic influence in various subjects of liberal arts,Zhejiang University,Shanghai Jiaotong University,Fudan University are the second echelon,Nanjing University and Xi’an Jiaotong University are the third echelon,Harbin Institute of Technology,China university of Science and Technology is the fourth tier.The academic influence of C9 University Liberal Arts in China can be divided into three echelons.Peking University,Tsinghua University,and Nanjing University constitute the first echelon of Chinese civil science and technology.Xi’an Jiaotong University,Fudan University,Zhejiang University,and Shanghai Jiaotong University constitute the second echelon.Harbin Institute of Technology and China University of Science and Technology constitute the third echelon.Second,every university has its own superior disciplines more or less,and there are also weak disciplines.For example,Peking University has a strong international academic influence in laws and public affairs,but the subject of national research is relatively weak.Third,through the analysis of the number of fund projects,it is found that the number of funds established is directly proportional to academic influence.Take Nanjing University as an example,among the papers included in CSSCI,Nanjing University has the largest number of papers supported by the fund project.As a result,Nanjing University’s domestic arts science influence ranks with Peking University and Tsinghua University in the first echelon.Finally,in order to improve the influence of liberal arts science,the following suggestions are made: First,maintain the academic influence of the dominant disciplines and support the development of disadvantaged disciplines;second,increase the productivity of scientific research;third,change the concept and attach importance to the influence of arts science;Fourth,apply for fund project support;Fifth,create a professional research team.
