Application Of Supportive Group Working Method In Rehabilitation Of Nephrotic Patients

As people’s lifestyle changes,kidney disease has become a serious threat to human health.According to statistics,10.8%Chinese adults have chronic kidney disease,and the number of people suffering from it is as high as 120 million.Most kidney diseases are chronic diseases.These patients need to be hospitalized for rehabilitation.In addition to the need for clinical treatment,there is also a need for health literacy,emotional distress and social support.Only the clinical treatment and social work intervention are combined,can achieve better rehabilitation effect and promote the improvement of quality of life of patients with nephropathy.Based on the project of "Kidney health and physical fitness" in Shanghai S Hospital,the inpatients in renal department of S Hospital were investigated in the aspects of inpatient adaptation,diet,support system,recreation and leisure by means of interview and observation.Through in-depth analysis of investigation data and literature,the problems and practical needs of patients with nephropathy were evaluated in the rehabilitation process.Social workers used supportive groups,combined with the interactive model of group work,to guide the patients communicate the problems of nephropathy,actively share,support each other,promote the understanding of scientific diet and exercise skills of nephrotic patients through group activities,and establish "the nephrotic patients association" in the final phase of the activity.The Association provides a stable platform for patient communication,doctor-patient communication and social work practices,and improves the network of support for patients with nephropathy.This paper evaluates the results of the "Kidney Health and physical Fitness" project,and draws the following conclusions:First,the patients in the department of nephropathy have acquired authoritative pathological knowledge,rehabilitative knowledge,and set up scientific diet concept and healthy sports idea.It has enhanced the confidence of rehabilitation;Second,the health support group in interactive mode has played a positive role in promoting the patients with renal diseases to open their hearts,interact positively and realize themselves;Third,with the support of this project,the department of nephropathy set up a patients WeChat group,and set up a "patient association",nephrotic patients have their own specific social support network and mutual aid platform,doctor-patient communication became more diversified,and the traditional medical rehabilitation model is improved in S hospital.
