Nowadays,we human beings have stepped into the information era.The information attainments are as important as the abilities of listening,speaking,reading and writing.Thus,it's the basic requirement for everyone to have information attainments in the information society.Furthermore,the subject of information technology is responsible for the training and promotion of students' information attainments.However,the information technology education started late in China,and the imbalanced development in different regions,they both result in the following problems.Such as weak teaching and research,lack of teaching experience,single teaching methods and lack of scientific teaching evaluation for our teachers.Accordingly,how to improve the effectiveness of teaching? How to better train and improve the information attainments of students? Those are the problems faced by all the teachers who teach information technology in junior middle school.The SOLO Taxonomy was put forward by Australian educational psychologist Biggs.J.B and Collis.K.F,which was based on Piaget's cognitive development stage theory.The theory was a kind of Learning-result-evaluation described by ranked character.It was not only an advanced evaluated theory,but also had a unique advantage in optimizing the design of teaching,guiding the teaching practice and leading students ' thinking structure to higher-leveled developments.The solo category has positive enlightening and guiding significance.This article combed concerning research current situation about Solo category theory at home and abroad,explored the application strategy about solo category theory in middle school information technology teaching,structured the middle school information technology teaching designed pattern.The writer optimized the teaching process to middle school information technology about “ Before-class,in-class and after-class ” completely by utilizing solo category theory and carried out one-semester-long experimental data in quantity.It can be concluded by analysis in experimental data that solo category theory had an obvious effect on guiding middle school information technology and improving the classroom efficiency,promoting students' grades and the development of students' thinking.The research was a beneficial exploration and try about solo category applied in middle school information technology subject teaching.
