There are physiological differences between people at birth,but the awareness of social gender and gender equality needs to be educated and cultivated later.In addition to family and society,school is the most important place for students to receive gender education.In school,in addition to teachers' teaching,the textbook is the most direct way for students to accept gender education.Chinese education has done a lot of reform,but there is still a lot of data that shows the existence of gender bias and gender stereotype in the textbook.In a series of studies at home and abroad about gender ideology in textbooks,the number of men is generally higher than that of women.The male characters used in textbooks are generally strong,intelligent and brave,while female roles in textbooks are mostly gentle,weak and dependent.This gender ideology in textbooks is likely to enhance students' gender bias and gender stereotypes,and can't provide students with the right gender orientation.So it is of great significance to study the gender ideology of physical education and health textbooks.Junior high school students in adolescence are curious about the opposite sex.Taking into account the particularity of the physical discipline,the gender ideology conveyed by sports and health textbooks will have a great influence on students' correct handling of the relationship with the opposite sex and the formation of a scientific view of gender.This article is based on the new and old edition of physical education and health and the two edition of the old and new edition of the junior middle school.We use the methods of literature and content analysis,refer to the guidelines for gender ideology proposed by UNESCO and Fang,Zhaoyu and others,and accord to the gender bias of the construct of Delphi method of test.In this paper,the contents of the textbook are divided into two aspects: "the picture of the textbook" and "the text of the textbook".Through the statistical analysis and research of these two parts,we draw a conclusion and discuss the existence of gender ideology.This paper is mainly composed of the following chapters: The first chapter mainly includes the basis and significance of the study,as well as the related concepts of textbooks,gender ideology and so on.The main objectives and limits of the study are also described.The second chapter mainly combs and studies the literature review related to this thesis,expounds the research status at home and abroad,and introduces the test criteria of gender ideology referenced in this paper;The third chapter discusses the research methods of this article.The author mainly uses the literature method and the content analysis method to analyze and study the gender ideology in the textbook.The fourth and fifth chapters analyze the gender ideology in the illustrations of the two edition of the new and old edition of the human education edition.We analyzed the gender ratio,gender personality ratio,sex ratio of different roles and gender affiliation in two edition textbook illustrations,in the two edition of the illustrations of junior high school sports and health textbooks,the image of male focus figures is still dominant,and the use of female focus figures is ignored.There is a phenomenon of gender imbalance between men and women.However,in the analysis of the proportion of personality traits illustrations,the new edition textbooks have improved more than those of the old edition textbooks;The sixth chapter mainly analyzes the other gender ideology in the illustrations of the new and old edition of the two edition of the textbook,mainly through the analysis of the gender ideology presented in the cover of the textbooks,the illustrations of the bottom of the book,and the clothes and disguised in the illustrations of the internal text;In the seventh chapter,we analyze of the gender ideology presented by the new two edition of the texts in the textbook.We find that The old textbook mentions little about women's contribution to sports in the text.While,the new edition of the textbook has begun to pay attention to the image of women and affirm the role of women in the development of sports,but the status is still far below the male;The eighth chapter is an analysis of the influence and causes of gender bias in the textbook;The ninth chapter is the conclusions of this study,put forward some thinking and suggestions.
