Since the implementation of the new curriculum standard,the sports textbooks in our country have carried out the form of "one standard and many copies".All provinces,cities and regions can independently compile sports textbooks,which accord with the national physical education curriculum standards and have different characteristics and styles.It has become the primary task for teachers and researchers to study curriculum standards and actively study textbooks and attach importance to the experimental work of physical education curriculum reform in junior middle schools.This study classifies,compares,analyzes,draws conclusions and puts forward suggestions on the presentation type,content system,composition mode,layout characteristics,and main functions of the illustrations of the fifth edition of the junior middle school textbook "physical Education and Health",which has been published in the fifth edition of junior high school.With a view to enlighten and help the teachers undefined teaching process and the students undefined learning process,it can also provide some references for the design and revision of textbook illustrations in the future.It also provides some theoretical basis for the compilation and research of the textbook of physical Education and Health in our country.The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)Referring to the classification methods of textbook illustrations in other disciplines and combining with the discipline characteristics of physical Education and Health,a detailed classification is drawn up:according to the presentation types of illustrations,they can be divided into physical drawings,cartoons,and so on.Action diagrams,photos,module diagrams,data maps and tables;According to the content system of illustration,it can be divided into sports skill module,health and theoretical knowledge module,national traditional sports module,ice and snow sports module and other sports modules,according to the combination mode of illustration can be divided into single picture and group diagram two categories;According to the layout characteristics of the illustration,it can be divided into three aspects:the number of the illustration,the position of the illustration and the composition of the illustration.According to the main function of illustration,it can be divided into four categories:decorative illustration,representational illustration,organizational illustration and explanatory illustration.(2)Starting from five dimensions,this paper classifies and compares the illustrations of the fifth edition of physical Education and Health textbook in junior high school.Present the differences and common characteristics of the illustrations in each edition of textbooks.(3)Summarize the characteristics of the illustrations in the five dimensions of the fifth edition of"physical Education and Health" in junior high school.Respectively:the presentation type of illustration is mainly action diagram and module diagram,and the difference between each version is obvious;The content system of illustration is mainly sports skill module,there is no obvious difference among different versions,the combination of illustration is mainly single picture,the difference is great,the layout characteristics of illustration are significant,each has its own characteristics.The main function of illustration is organization illustration and explanatory illustration.Finally,the author puts forward the corresponding suggestions for the compilation and drawing of the illustrations in the middle school textbook "physical Education and Health",which are as follows:improving the structure of textbook compilers;following the students undefined cognitive level;optimizing innovation,changing the material of illustrations;improving the quality of illustration printing;Improve the professional literacy of the relevant personnel.
