The role of high school physical mechanics experiment in teaching can not be ignored.The experiment as the foundation can better carry out the work of teaching.Experiment is an important content of physics teaching and effective teaching methods in the classroom.The experiment can not only assist the teaching,but also deepen the students’ comprehension of the physics knowledge.After the implement of the new curriculum reform,higher requirements for students’ practical ability have been put forward.The reform of physics teaching experiment in senior middle school has also become a content that cannot be ignored.Affected by the thought of exam-oriented education,the high school physics experiment still has some problems at present.The research has found out some problems,including teaching does not comply with the cognitive characteristic of students,too much emphasis on the teaching progress and ignore the students’ learning process.This kind of teaching whose aim is to test content as the learning content will affect students’ creativity and ability of the development.However,this phenomenon is not uncommon.To solve these problems,based on the theory of education,the paper is analyzing the functions of high school physical mechanics experiments.The functions are as follows: to stimulate students’ interest in learning;to promote the development of students’ physical thinking;to enrich the students’ physical learning method;to solve students’ cognitive conflict.The paper has put forward some teaching strategies of physics mechanics in high school.Making full use of leading teaching plan,the teacher can lead the students to choose a variety of learning modes to explore the experiment.The teacher can replace the apparatus which is insufficient with the materials in daily life.The teacher can make full use of leading teaching plan to teach and put forward different evaluation methods by designing some open problems.According to the research,it can realize the reform of physics teaching as expected and improve the efficiency of teaching high school physical mechanics experiment.All in all,it will improve the students’ learning ability and operational ability.
