| For the elderly patients with advanced cancer,in the final period of their lives,in addition to physical pain and financial pressure,there are still problems such as the fear of death,low self-identity,and other spiritual needs that cannot be met.Therefore,the main research question in this study is to discuss the problem of mental comfort in elderly patients with advanced cancer from the perspective of case work.Under the theoretical guidance of rational emotional therapy model,psychosocial treatment model,and social support theory,individuals are changed by satisfying service targets.Non-rational beliefs,emotional support for family members,social integration and re-understanding of self-worth and other spiritual needs,ease and resolve their negative personal negative emotions,poor communication with their families,and social communicative obstacles such as spiritual comfort,to achieve spiritual comfort The purpose of this study is to draw conclusions about how the casework involved in the mental comfort of elderly patients with advanced cancer is effective and feasible.However,through the reflection on the specific intervention process and the overall research issues,it is believed that there are still some deficiencies.Therefore,in response to these deficiencies,the following suggestions have been made: to improve the social ethical quality of social workers,to strengthen the professional construction of social workers,to pay attention to the periphery of service targets,to integrate related subject knowledge,and to increase the degree of social support.It is hoped that this can provide some meager basis and reference for the practical research on social work involved in the mental comfort of patients with advanced cancer. |
