Social and Emotional Learning(SEL)includes five core skills of self-awareness ? self-management ? social awareness ? relationship skills ?responsible decision making.It is a learning process that enables students to recognize and control their emotions and to perceive others' emotions,thus making correct decisions,establishing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships and effectively dealing with various problems.A large number of studies have shown that social emotional learning can improve students' problem behaviors,help students form a good learning attitude and improve their academic performance,increase student's pro-social behavior,and improve students' social adaptability.At present,the application of Social and Emotional Learning courses has been widely used in foreign countries,but most of research in China has focused on the theoretical and experimental situations.The study focuses on the extramural education for Social and Emotional Learning courses.And studies the improvement of children's problem behaviors and the improvement of the Social and Emotional Learning ability of all children.Study adopts the observation method to collect data on the implementation of the Social and Emotional Learning courses and the performance of children's problem behaviors.The interview method is used to collect teachers' feedback on the situation of children and the problems of curriculum implementation.Last but least,questionnaires are used to collect parents' feedback on the behavior of children.Through the comprehensive analysis of the literature and the information collected above,this study explores the improvement of children's behavior and the improvement of their ability during Social and Emotional Learning.The results show that the intervention of self-awareness,emotion management and social communication skills can effectively improve the behavior problem and improve the whole children.The improvement of Social and Emotional Learning is an imperceptible process,and short-term courses can only play an auxiliary and helpful role.It is necessary for families and schools to pay close attention and long-term persistence to keep children healthy.It is effective that the improvement of the problem behavior of children in the way of Social and Emotional Learning through extramural education,and the improvement of children's self-cognition,emotionmanagement and social communication ability is also effective.At the end of study,suggestions for the practice of Social and Emotional Learning was put forward,which can provide a reference for teachers and parents,which can be used for reference in improving children's problem behaviors and improving Social and Emotional Learning.
