Research On Settled Intention And Influencing Factors Of Elderly Immigrant

Elderly immigrants is an emerging but increasingly important population mobility group.Accompanied by the accelerated construction and development of new urbanization based on urban-rural integration and urban-rural integration,and the influence of social structure,population structure,family structure,and traditional culture,the phenomenon of elderly immigrants is becoming more and more common.The number of elderly immigrants will keep rising.This research regards Jinan as a case and use a mixed research method to study the life of elderly immigrants and their willingness to settle,besides it reveals the situation of their willingness to settle and micro-macro influencing factors through the research on the living conditions of elderly immigrants in the migratory places.The elderly immigrants are the “invisible” and “disadvantaged” group in the current gerontological groups,whose social interaction,living,emotional situation and needs are often ignored.The ederly immigrants are socially disadvantaged groups,and their lives and emotional conditions are easily overlooked by people.Elderly immigrants undertake the most burdensome daily chores of children,and they have monotonous leisure life,the limited scope and objects of social interaction,maintaining a certain degree of autonomy and selectivity,more of whom can only choose to submit to their children and bend to themselves.Most of ederly immigrants are not willing to settle in the emigration place(Jinan)and have a strong sense of belonging to thier hometown.This is closely related to the motives of this group,which are pursuing the improvement of the welfare of their family members and taking care of their grandchildren as the most important motive.This kind of family care work has a strong timeliness,once the education for grandchildren is over,It is easy for the ederly immigrants return to their hometown.The factors affecting ederly immigrants include individual micro-factors and macro-social structure factors.Individual micro-factors mainly include individual factors,family factors,and social network factors.The macro-social structure factors include population and birth policies,traditional ideological and cultural concepts,and the urban-rural dual household registration system.The two factors promote each other,and infiltrate each other,affecting willingness of the ederly immigrants to relocate.It is of great significance toestablish and improve the care service system for theederly immigrants,in order to improve the quality of life of the group's relocation and help them adapt to the relocation life.
