The development of mathematics classroom teaching in primary school must be based on the characteristics of pupils’ personality,and help pupils acquire stronger mathematics ability,realize mathematical thinking ability,and further improve their practical ability,especially the improvement of mathematical operation ability.The development of mathematics teaching activities in township primary schools has always been the object of educational research and attention.For a long time,the rural elementary school mathematics teaching activity development condition is not optimistic.In the teaching practice,the author finds that the learning ability of elementary school students in villages and towns is poor and the foundation is relatively weak.The reason is that the traditional teaching mode is still the main teaching mode of primary school mathematics classroom teaching.Traditional teaching too much Pay attention to the status of teachers in teaching,ignoring the subjectivity of students.The bad teaching mode leads to the low efficiency of the primary school mathematics classroom teaching,the students lack of learning motivation,the single boring teaching method is difficult to arouse the students’ learning enthusiasm,and they lose their interest and confidence in learning mathematics.Therefore,to fulfill the requirements of the new curriculum reform,to perfect the primary school mathematics teaching mechanism,to optimize the primary school mathematics classroom teaching mode,to flexibly use modern teaching methods to carry out a variety of mathematics classroom teaching,It is of great significance for elementary school students to learn mathematics.The purpose of the study is to focus on the classroom teaching of mathematics in township primary schools,adopt a variety of teaching methods synthetically,combined with practical cases,and conduct a deep investigation on the application of cooperative group learning in the classroom teaching of mathematics in township primary schools.Group cooperative learning can improve the teaching methods and further promote the development of township education.Based on the theories of psychology,pedagogy,constructivism and so on,the research idea is to understand the present situation of the application of group cooperative learning in the mathematics classroom of township primary schools through investigation,and to put forward the strategies to improve group cooperative learning.The research methods include literature method,questionnaire survey method,comparative analysis method and experimental analysis method:reading related documents at home and abroad,reading,sorting,analyzing and researching the collected documents;issuing questionnaires to teachers and corresponding students.To investigate teachers’ and students’ attitudes towards group cooperative learning;to carry out experimental studies and to compare and analyze the use of group cooperative learning and non-group cooperative learning The difference between the two classes.Through the research,it is concluded that group cooperation is a kind of teaching organization that deserves to be advocated.Group cooperative learning maximizes students’ initiative,and students find problems,solve problems,and between teachers and students in active exploration.The interaction between students greatly improves the teaching efficiency.Teachers’ teaching concept and students’cooperative skills affect the efficiency of group cooperative learning,so the optimization strategy of group cooperative learning is put forward.
