Senior high school political class is the basic ideological education for students in politics and times,which make it more theoretical.This part of the content makes students bored and empty easily during the process of teaching,in high school political teachers' point view.To get rid of such a teaching process,teachers need to endow theory with life,and combine it with reality.This article will be based on Qianjiang District,Chongqing,which has strong cultural characteristics and national features,because it is a revolutionary old district,a community of Tujia and Miao ethnic minorities.The political teachers here link local culture of Qianjiang District with teaching process in order to explore the local special cultural resources,to compensate for shortcomings of the lack of local resources in high school political classes,to deepen the culture of high school politics,to add more curriculum resources with strong local characteristics and increase students' awareness of local ethnic cultures.This paper mainly studies how to excavate and condensed the characteristics of native resources,and integrate them into the political teaching of senior high school scientifically,so the paper uses the literature method to comb the theory of the utilization of local teaching resources,and analyzes the Theory of life education,it is the theoretical foundation of this study to generate the educational idea to support the use of local teaching resources and the necessity of using the local teaching resources in the senior politics.Combined with local literatures,the author analyzes the local resources of Qianjiang District into the political compulsory textbooks of senior high school,finds out the native culture which is suitable for the universal political teaching materials and the ways of using them,increases the cultural thickness of teaching,enriches the teaching methods,strengthens the relevant knowledge of teaching contents,and deepens the interest or clarify students ' misunderstanding of local culture,and explore the way and path of political education.In this study,Qianjiang District Minzu High School conducted a case study of the research subjects.the interview method was used to interview some political teachers and students in the Minzu high school,and to understand the present situation of the utilization of the local teaching resources in the politics of the high school,including the teachers ' attitude to the application of native culture to teaching,the action taken and the difficulties faced,and the students ' attitudes and understanding of the local culture.After collecting and sorting,the paper finds the results and problems of the utilization of the local teaching resources in the high school politics,and ponders over the improvement of the utilization of the local teaching resources in the politics of Qianjiang District Minzu high school.
