"Problem solving" is one of the four requirements of mathematics compulsory education mathematics curriculum.It specifically requested students to meet the problem solving ability in compulsory education stage.In primary schools,problems are the origination for students to explore knowledge,and problem solving is the main form of primary school mathematics learning.The cultivation of students' problem solving ability is the emphasis and difficulty of primary mathematics teaching,and also the origination and foothold of teaching.This paper investigates the current situation of mathematics "problem solving" in primary school,analyzes the reasons and demonstrates some specific strategies for teaching improvement.In this study,students from three schools were investigated.The three schools are Chunlei School,Xinlin School and Lianghekou Central School in Macheng,Hubei Province.It did a questionnaire survey of the mathematics "problem solving" teaching situation.And then data analysis by SPSS and interview survey method were used to analyze the current situation and teaching strategies.The main body of the text is divided into three parts.Its basic contents are as follows:The first part is composed of the first chapter and the second chapter.First,the purpose and significance of research on this thesis,ideas and methods are introduced in this paper,and then the concept of "mathematical problem solving" is defined.It also introduces the related research background and research status at home and abroad.Finally it introduces the related theory of education.The second part is the central part of this article,which is from third chapter to the fifth chapter.Through questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students,we investigated the current situation of problem solving teaching in primary schools.Based on the current situation,combined with the actual situation in Macheng,this paper analyzed the existing problems of problem solving teaching.Then it gives the corresponding improvement of teaching strategies.And it shows "chicken with rabbitcage" as an example,and optimize the design of the teaching by using the strategies.It also further put forward the teaching suggestions according to teaching practice feedback.The third part is the sixth chapter.The shortcomings and future prospects of this paper are summarized.Research shows two aspects.As for teachers,primary school mathematics teachers are of obvious job burnout with poor work enthusiasm.The teachers are not sufficiently aware of the "problem solving" in the new curriculum idea,and some teachers do not have enough lesson preparation every day.They are also unfamiliar with modern information technology and have a single teaching method.As for students,it has been found that students are lack of life experience,and the ability to find the problem and proposes the question is weak.Also the majority of students are lack of flexibility,and they are not good at independent thinking and reviewing.This research has two innovations.First,it uses SPSS software to descriptive statistical analyze the results of the questionnaire.It improves tactics of "problem solving" teaching in primary school mathematics.Complete the analysis from the teachers and students,therefore,teachers and students can carry out targeted diagnosis and purposeful improvement.Second,it uses the proposed teaching strategies to optimize the teaching design of the problem of "chicken and rabbit in the same cage" in primary schools.And then aiming at the results of teaching practice test feedback,specific and specific teaching suggestions are proposed.
