Since the new curriculum reform,various schools have begun to carry out classroom reform,education experts and scholars have begun to explore how to effectively improve the quality of teaching.As a part of classroom teaching,the important position of classroom assignment can not be ignored.As a feedback method of classroom teaching effect,the degree of application of classroom assignment directly affects the effect of teaching and students’ learning.Classroom homework is the main way for students to learn independently.In order to develop students in an all-round way,it is necessary to understand the present situation of geography classroom.To find out the causes of the problems in the current situation and to put forward solving strategies to better play the role of classroom homework in teaching.This paper adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire and interview to investigate the geography classroom homework of A middle school in Yanji city,and makes a statistical analysis of the survey data.This paper investigates the present situation of the geography classroom assignment in this school,finds out the existing problems,and tries to find out the causes of the problems,and puts forward some relevant suggestions.The findings indicate that:1.On the whole,teachers have a good teaching concept,and have a clear understanding of the necessity of applying geography classroom homework.They will also use geography classroom assignments in the classroom,and teachers will be able to strictly require students in the process of teaching implementation.There are still some geography teachers who think they are the owners and disseminators of knowledge in the view of the role of designing geography classroom assignments,and the deficiency of teachers in the process of teaching implementation lies in the insufficient development of cooperative learning.Through the investigation,we found that students have less chance to participate in activities outside class.2.Teachers can strictly follow the curriculum standards in the design of geography classroom assignments,the shortcomings of which are that the design of classroom assignments is mainly adapted,the classroom assignments are lack of pertinence,can not be connected with the reality of life,nor can they be well combined with the development of the times.Because of the lack of students’ feeling and participation in classroom assignments,the design of teaching objectives is not clear enough,so most students are not clear about their learning goals and can not achieve the teaching effect by completing the classroom tasks well.3.The method of geography classroom assignment evaluation is relatively single,most of them are students’ mutual evaluation or classroom presentation.Although this method can improve students’ ability,it is difficult to control classroom time and can not guarantee all students to participate in class work.The teacher can’t get a good grasp of all the students’ knowledge.4.In school,teachers are required to use geography classroom homework in teaching,multimedia facilities are perfect,but there are still shortcomings in the quality inspection of geography classroom work:there is no strict supervision and inspection system;Schools in the form of training,training and competition is less;geographical activities less experimental equipment.In view of the above problems,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:1.Improve teachers’ self quality;2.To improve the quality of homework(1)to meet the needs of teaching 2)to pay attention to the cultivation of students’ comprehensive ability(3)to pay attention to the connection with life(4)the homework is full of interest,to think,and to explore(5)the geography classroom work takes a moderate time to choose the appropriate content;3.The difficulty of geography classroom work should be divided into different levels;4.The form of geography classroom work is diversified;5.Establish a comprehensive and diversified evaluation system.
