The dilemma faced by ideological and political education in colleges and universities is not closely related to real life,which harms the ideological and moral qualities,moral practical abilities,as well as comprehensive development of undergraduates.Therefore,strengthening the vitality and contagion of ideological and political education and improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education has become the focus of the current reform of higher education.Based on the "living world" of undergraduates,this article conducts a research on the life-oriented ideological and political education of undergraduates by applying Noddings’ s Care Theory.The life-oriented ideological and political education requires regarding students’ "living world" as the core of education,and Noddings’ s Care Theory emphasizes to start with solicitude from real life,to advocate educating and caring students in life,to integrate the theory into the process of moral education through methods like setting example,conducting dialogue,practicing and recognizing,and to achieve students good quality development.Using the Noddings’ s Care Theory to study the life-oriented ideological and political education requires a caring-for-value orientation,a caring and affective foundation,and a goal of caring for students.It aims to develop students’ care through a series of emotional experiences and practical activities’ ability to optimize their personal relationships,enhance their spiritual realm,stimulate students’ subjective pursuit of moral ideals,conscientiously temper their moral qualities,gradually increase their moral standards,and grow into lofty ideas,moral integrity,a good education and a strong sense of discipline person.The paper elaborates the current status of life-oriented ideological and political education,and promotes specific methods to realize such education at the view of caring students,which both possess values in theory and practice.The second chapter expounds the connotation of life-oriented ideological and political education and the Noddings’ s Care Theory,and analyzes their specialties.The third chapter summarizes the manifestation of life-oriented education deficiency,including biased values,deviated subjective consciousness,and insufficient care.The fourth chapter studies the feasibility of applying the Noddings’ s Care Theory on the life-oriented ideological and political education in four dimensions,which are educational objects,educational methods,educational contents and educational environment,and guides the college students’ practice activity under the influence of the Noddings’ s Care Theory.And given the shortages of the life-oriented ideological and political education discussed previously,the fifth chapter suggests concrete measures to facilitate the life-oriented education via aspects such as education process,educational environment and teach-student relationship,and structures the model of undergraduates life-oriented education. |
