Adversity quotient is an important ability about how people facing adversities.In recent years,more and more scholars choose this issue to study.Reform school students as a special group,they suffering more adversities compared with ordinary junior middle school students,but less research on their Adversity quotient.Under this background,this study is a Reform school students' Adversity quotient empirical research,aim to make the social and scholars focus on Reform school students' Adversity quotient,and puts forward the educational countermeasures which can enhance Reform school students' Adversity quotient.The method of questionnaire survey is adopted in this study by Adversity Response Profile(APR),Egna Minnen av Barndosnauppforstran(EMBU),The questionnaire of middle school student gratitude,for 153 Reform school students from Zhengzhou and Kunming and 239 ordinary junior middle school students from Zhengzhou.In this study,to explore the relationship of Parenting style,gratitude and Adversity quotient for Reform school students,and the difference between Reform school students and ordinary junior middle school students in this three factors.The detail results are following:(1)The dimension of Reform school students' Adversity quotient—endurance have a prominent difference on whether their parents are divorced;Gratitude and its dimension affair orientation have a prominent difference on grade;Gratitude'demension human orientation have a prominent difference on region;The three dimensions of Reform school students' parenting style : mother emotional-warmth ? father overprotection ? father over-interference have a prominent difference on whether their parents are divorced.(2)The three dimensions of Reform school students' parenting style--mother emotional-warmth?fother emotional-warmth?father overprotection are significant positive correlated with Adversity quotient;The five dimensions of Reform school students' parenting style--mother emotional-warmth?fother emotional-warmth?mother favouring subject?father favouring subject?father overprotection are significant positive correlated with Gratitude;Gratitude are significant positive correlated with Adversity quotient.(3)Gratitude has a partially intermediary effect on the relation between a dimension Reform school students' parenting style(father overprotection)and Adversity quotient;Gratitude has a complete intermediary effect on the relation between a dimension Reform school students' parenting style(mother emotional-warmth)and Adversity quotient.(4)Reform school students scored significantly lower than ordinary junior middle school students in the Reach—dimension of Adversity quotient?Gratitude and its all dimensions and mother emotional-warmth?fother emotional-warmth of parenting style.Reform school students scored significantly higher than ordinary junior middle school students in the father overinterference ? mother over-interference ? father rejection and mother rejection--dimension of parenting style.
