| Chinese teaching in Nepal started in 2004,it has been 12 years,however the achievements of Chinese teaching is not satisfactory,Chinese teaching is mainly in Nepali private primary and secondary school,most of the students’ Chinese skills are still in a low level,the causes of this situation is complicated.The writer thinks that Chinese teacher’s teaching methods are the key factors to affect the progressing of Chinese teaching in Nepal.Therefor in this thesis,the writer combined with her own teaching experience and other two Chinese teachers’ experience who are in two private schools in Kathmandu valley,based on the theory about game teaching method both of China and abroad,aimed to do the research for the application and design of game teaching method in Nepali private primary and secondary school,hope to promote this teaching method,as well as to help improve Nepal’s Chinese teaching.The writer interviewed three Chinese teachers who from three private primary and secondary school in Kathmandu valley,has surveyed about the situation of Chinese teaching of these three schools,and also did researches about game teaching in Chinese language classes for 333 students who from grade 4 to grade 7 or grade 5 to grade 7.Based on this,the writer has given the details of 14 games about Chinese pronunciation,vocabulary,Chinese characters and grammar,then made the questionnaire about satisfaction of games teaching for 333 students,and interviewed Chinese teachers for the advice about these games teaching.From the results of questionnaire and interview,we could know that students were satisfied with the games which made by Chinese teachers,however there were some problems while using game teaching in Chinese classes.The writer has summarized the main problems,they are vicious competition between students,too much time for games,lack of knowledge in games,causing much disorder while playing games in Chinese class.The writer has analyzed the problems and the reasons,to solve the problems,the writer has interviewed two Chinese teachers for suggestions.Combined with own teaching experience,the writer gave the solutions to solve these four main problems. |
