A Study On The Social Work Practice Of Improving The Depression Of The Migrant Elderly

Due to the rapid development of China's urbanization process,the aging of the population,the acceleration of population movement and the increase of the one-child family,the scale of the elderly is gradually expanding.The migrant elderly are not only faced with the challenges faced by ordinary people,such as the aging of the physiology,the aging of the mind and the transformation of social roles.They are in the new city,facing a re-socialization process that needs to adapt to the new environment and new environment The loss of the social support network in the original residence led to the elderly in the face of these challenges in the process,often produce a series of negative emotions,affecting the physical and mental health of the elderly,of which the most common depression.This article is based on the author in the "2016 Western region with the migrant elderly community into the social work service demonstration project "project service points collected with the elderly data based on the results carried out.Through the project service point to accept the service with the migrant elderly,I feel most of the elderly are facing the mood of the troubled,especially in depression,t the author to improve the depression with the elderly as the starting point for social work intervention.In the course of the study,the paper analyzes the basic situation and the demand of the elderly with the service point,and then chooses two elderly people who are involved as the main cases.During the intervention process,the author mainly uses the rational emotion treatment mode and the life review theory to assist the research object by recollecting the life story to reconstruct the view of the past,leading the depressive mood event and the character,and based on the present,actively deal with the old life.Through practical research,the author puts forward his own reflection on the experience and shortcomings of the improvement of the work of the elderly in the depressed mood service,and puts forward his own thoughts and suggestions on the later work of the elderly.
