In 2001,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council launched a new round of basic education curriculum reform(referred to "The New Curriculum Reform")to further deepen the educational reform and comprehensively promote quality education."The New Curriculum Reform" pays more attention to cultivating students’ innovative spirit and practical ability,at the same time emphasizing that learning is an active construction of knowledge,ability to develop and form the correct emotional attitudes and values of the process.Curriculum standards as a "new curriculum" the basic norms and quality requirements were produced.In recent years,the problem-based learning(referred to as PBL)and the inquiry teaching have been paid more and more attention by educators with the further popularization and deepening of the new curriculum idea.This study starts from the theoretical discussion of the problem-based learning and the inquiry teaching.By combining the advantages of the two teaching modes effectively,researcher constructed the "Problem-Based Inquiry Teaching mode"(referred to as PBIT).The teaching model emphasizes the "problem as the core,inquiry as a means",through the students actively explore,comprehend the essence,and grasp the law.The specific approach is:to enable students in their own problems,driven by their own observation and thinking to obtain knowledge and practice in daily life to be creative application,and ultimately establish the appropriate cognitive structure and thinking habits;teachers in the teaching process In the role of students in accordance with the relevant educational goals have a positive impact,so as to effectively stimulate the student’s internal drive,so that students use their own inner feelings and creation,access to knowledge and discovery laws,the full development of student personality.Based on the combination of theory and practice,this paper constructs the PBIT based on a large amount of relevant literatures and combined with the current situation of biology classroom teaching.At the same time,researcher continue to optimize all aspects of the model in the actual teaching.Subsequently,two parallel classes were selected as the experimental and control classes in Haixi prefecture high school to verify the practical application of the model.In this process,the researchers in the experimental class of biological classroom teaching PBIT for teaching,control class using the conventional teaching mode.Through the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the experimental class and control class before and after the study,it is found that the PBIT can not only improve students’ academic performance,but also positive attitude towards learning and learning Impact.On the whole,PBIT has the characteristics of practicability,good practical effect and broad development prospect in the teaching practice.It has strong reference significance for the reform of China’s basic education under the quality education background. |
