Construction And Application Of The WeChat Public Platform Of The Course Of Ideological And Political Theory

As the rapid development of science and technology,vast quantities of information have shaped into the daily life of contemporary universitystudents.In the mobile network era,it tends to be a vital concern of how to enhance the ideological and political education effect to university students.This study integrated the teaching of the ideological and political theory course into anopen interaction platform put forward by Tencent Company in 2011-“WeChat public platform".It tried to alter the passive situation of the absence of students' timely communication with teachers in current teaching process and promote the teaching reform of this course in new circumstances by pressing close to student's reality.The study mainly focused on the construction and application of a WeChat public platform constructed for the Ideological and Political Department of Beijing Sport University-abbreviated as “Beitisizheng” in Chinese.Byinvestigations on relatedideological and politicalteachers,administrators,and students,the practical problems of this platform were explored and corresponding solutions were proposed by literature review,questionnaire survey,expert interview,and mathematical statistics.The study mainlyincluded two sections:1.basing on the general service situation of the platform,analysis was given to how this platform developed into a major carrier of ideological and political theory course and the technical advantages of the platform;2.by investigations on the construction andapplication of the platform,the problems of this platform during application were concluded and related solutions were proposed.Conclusions are drawn from three parts: first of all,as a highlight in current teaching,the WeChat public platform for the ideological and political theory course in universities is available to realize the education of socialist core values and national mainstream ideology.Secondly,analysis on survey data reveals that the content of this platform should cover the main concerns of university students,including improvement of test scores,inspirational anecdotes,and current political news etc..In addition,practical application results suggest that universitystudents have willingness of timely interacting with teachers through the platform to solve the difficulties and problems in ideology,life,and emotion etc..Finally,the operation and management team of the platform need to possess certain ideological and political education theory basis and network working skills.In practical operation,it should be jointly composed of related ideological and politicalteachers,first-line counselors,technicians,as well as student cadres etc.In addition,a daily operation mechanism is needed to ensure the timely maintenance and informationfeedback of the platform.
