Research On The Characteristic Of Fu Jen Catholic University's Talent Cultivation

Talent cultivation is an important part of higher education.With the development of universities,each of them will form their own characteristics.Fu Jen Catholic University was founded in Beijing in 1925.And then it was rebuilt in Taipei.Now Fu Jen Catholic University is top private university in Taiwan.Meanwhile Fu Jen Catholic University is the only Catholic University in Taiwan which was recognized by the Holy See.Over the years,Fu Jen Catholic University has provided a large number of talents for every walk of life.Many alumni have become the leader of many industry.So In this paper,I'll clarify the history and current situation of Fu Jen Catholic University,and then to study the characteristics of Fu Jen Catholic University in talent cultivation and the reason of it.Finally,I'll discuss on the nature of the function of the university,the impact of moral education of the Church University,the social services of Church University.I'd like to bring some experience for the cultivation of innovative talents and the reform of higher education.By the method of literature analysis,interview investigation and comparative study,this research is divided into five parts.Chapter 1 briefly discusses the origin of the topics,the meaning and value,some related concepts,current research in Mainland and Taiwan,ideas and methods of the study,to determine the focus and innovation of the research.Chapter 2 will straighten out the history of Fu Jen Catholic University's two period,analyze the distinctive status in Taiwan.Chapter 3 explore the characteristics of running a school,organizing,educating,course,employment and so on.Chapter 4 explores the reason of features of training Fu Jen Catholic University.Chapter 5 discusses the nature of the function of university,the moral education of the Church University,the social services of Church University.The following conclusions are based on the former:First,the characteristics of talent training in Fu Jen Catholic University:1,characteristics of running a school:Fu Jen Catholic University's educational goal is holistic education,its mission is to cultivate the talent who knows people,things and the GOD.And to make students have outstanding ability in academic and social responsibility.2,characteristics of organizing:Fu Jen Catholic University has the mission organization as a church university.In addition,the organization structure is a kind of cooperation and divide.3,Educating feature:The identity of the Catholic university decides the quality and the goal of the school of religion and reason.Catholic University focus more on social services.Fu Jen Catholic University's open,full of the spirit of the love and freedom,teachers as examples and greater respect for the traditional culture.4,curriculum features:Fu Jen Catholic University's curriculum in holistic education is comprehensive and implement strictly.Carrying out interdisciplinary learning and service learning actively.Its teaching effectiveness is ahead of other schools in Taiwan.5,employment characteristics:Fu Jen Catholic University has distinctive characteristics in employment counseling and career planning,include:Stick to the concept of holistic education,comprehensive forms and contents,promote the Cooperation Model,close cooperation between schools and enterprises,modernize institution.Second,the reason of Fu Jen Catholic University Talents characteristic's formation:1,globalization,popularization of higher education and the impact of the declining birthrate.2,the potential impact of the Catholic spirit.3,The influence of school administrators and management pattern.Including the idea of principal and organizational structure of Fu Jen Catholic University promote the formation of its talent cultivation.Third,discussion:1,The essence of university's education is to help students to be a man.2,the moral education of the Church University.3,the social services of Church University.
